We are expanding our company and are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic and experienced full & part time Landscape Grounds Maintenance operatives to join our fast paced team, carrying out landscape and grounds maintenance on managed developments, primarily in the South East. We are looking for new applicants, so if this is something you think you would like to do, come and join our busy team. Our work varies with the seasons, so there is always something different to experience. There is room for progression within the company.

Landscape Maintenance Operative / Driver

Salary: Up to £28,000

Requirements of Landscape Maintenance Operative / Driver

  • Experience in this industry, either gardening or grounds/landscape maintenance with a good knowledge of gardening and able to demonstrate your experience in this industry preferable, able to provide checkable references. Be familiar with powered equipment, and able to use ride on mowers, or at least be familiar in the use of is a huge advantage. Full training will be given to the successful applicant.
  • Driving licence is an advantage, you will need your to be able to get to our depot near Hatfield Peverel for early morning starts ready for travelling to sites.
  • Able to liaise when required with our clients/customers on their sites and developments with professional conduct, so interpersonal skills are very important along with skills required for this industry.
  • Able to organise your workload efficiently and to a high standard. Communicating well with your subordinates to achieve your portfolio of work. Able to understand and use cloud-based systems for reporting and job analysis.
  • Taking responsibility for your vehicle, its cleanliness, and the contents within.

Spray licence and trailer licence would be preferable, but training can be given to the right candidate.

Benefits

  • Salary: up to £28,000 / year for the right candidate, depending upon age, experience, skills and qualifications. This is for full time staff and once a probation period has been reached with the right skills.
  • 28 days holiday including Bank holidays, on a pro rata basis per year.
  • Any qualifications in horticulture would be an asset, eg PA1 & PA6 spray certificates, trailer license preferable but we do provide training for the right candidate. Please state if you have these when applying.
